When she said that, only then did it really occur to Mike that...well, he sort of had a girlfriend now, the first of the party (Dustin didn't count, not since his teeth came in and he suddenly exploded with abs overnight). The revelation left him momentarily breathless and grinning against the top of her head like a gigantic idiot.
When he was sure he could contain himself, he shifted to kiss her, pressing his forehead against hers so he could just look into her eyes.
"Here has you, too." he pointed out quietly, playfully. "So, y'know...I'm content to stay here as long as the lock on the door holds out."
